General Power of Attorney

A general power of attorney in the UAE is used to assign broad-ranging powers to another person to act on behalf of another party. The powers through a general POA can be assigned to buy real estate and other assets and set up and manage affairs of a company or represent before government departments, courts and utility offices such as Du, Etisalat etc. The powers also include signing contracts and representing before the banks etc.
