Dubai Biotechnology and Research Park (DuBiotech) was officially launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai in February 2005, under the vision of Dubai in 2010 to create a knowledge-based economy. This park is now the world’s first dedicated Free zone to the life sciences industry. The company is a subsidiary of the Government of Dubai holding company, Dubai Holding. DuBiotech is a center for the strengthening of cooperation and innovation through its commitment to life science research, education and industry at national and international levels.
It is strategically located in the prestigious area of Dubai between the current Dubai International Airport (DXB) and the new Dubai World Central International Airport (JXB).
The minimum share capital for companies such as FZ-LLC is 50,000 dirhams. For companies engaged in production activity minimum share capital of 300,000 dirhams. To register a branch, the authorized capital is required. Registration period is 2-3 weeks.
